Twenty Talented Community College Students to Present Research Projects at First Ever Bioscience Workforce Summit
Hello, Thank you for your time. I’m reaching out because I have a story that would definitely interest your readers. On June 26, InnovATEBIO will host 20 talented community college students to present research projects at the first-ever bioscience workforce summit in Washington, DC. According to the Executive Director of InnovATEBIO National Center for Biotechnology Education, Linnea Fletcher, “Envisioning Bioscience will connect students and professionals to create pathways for graduates to enter bioscience careers and achieve their professional goals.” This is a crucial endeavor now that the demand for workers outnumbers the professionals currently employed in the field. Envisioning The Next Bioscience Workforce Summit on Industry Trends and Needs will provide students with opportunities to collaborate with biotech education programs nationwide and network with industry leaders hiring candidates to launch future careers. The students chosen to participate will come from colleges across the country, including: MassBay Community College, Southeast Community College, Valencia College, Austin Community College, Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy High School, Finger Lakes Community College, Bronx Community College, and Montgomery County Community College. Learn more about the summit here. As a platform dedicated to breaking news on global biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical technologies, this story would be perfect for your publication. Thank you,
