Lyniate Names Scott Galbari President
Leading Interoperability Provider Also Welcomes Mikael Andén as Executive Vice President of Sales
Boston, MA – June 7, 2022 – Lyniate, a global leader in healthcare data interoperability, has named Scott Galbari president, chief operating officer, and chief information security officer, and has brought on Mikael Andén as executive vice president of sales. Galbari and Andén will help to execute Lyniate’s growth plans, meeting the evolving needs of its growing customer base while continuing to provide trusted support.

As president, chief operating officer, and chief information security officer, Galbari is responsible for executing the Lyniate growth strategy, customer satisfaction, and service delivery. In his expanded role, Galbari brings together customer success and product development, ensuring optimal cloud operations to exceed customer requirements, continuous integration, and uninterrupted deployment. Prior to joining Lyniate in 2019, Galbari spent 20 years in healthcare IT, leading the operations and product teams, most recently as the general manager for multiple businesses within McKesson and Change Healthcare. Galbari’s proven creative and growth-oriented approach helps ensure customer success remains a top organizational priority.
Mikael Andén joins the team as executive vice president of sales to focus on the health tech and international segments, two emerging sectors of rapid expansion. With over 20 years of experience leading diverse organizations focused on providing IT solutions and services in both domestic and international markets, Andén offers deep healthcare industry knowledge and an unwavering commitment to customer success. Prior to joining Lyniate, Andén held the position of chief customer officer for hospitals at Intelerad, was President for North America at Sectra, and worked at Lawson Software, a global ERP company.
This news comes on the heels of several notable growth announcements. Lyniate’s recent merger with NextGate, a pioneer in healthcare identity resolution and Enterprise Master Person Index (EMPI), will help meet increased market demand for more advanced interoperability solutions that address data quality as well as data sharing. Lyniate also recently deployed its Best-in-KLAS® Corepoint integration engine to operate as a service for customers shifting to the cloud. Bolstering Lyniate’s adherence to compliance, security, and continuity, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) granted the company its 27001 certification. Lastly, Epic selected Lyniate for inclusion within its Garden Plot offering to provide the SaaS model to independent medical groups so providers can focus on caring for patients.
