LIQUID STABLE & READY-TO-USE TOTAL PROTEIN / ALBUMIN CLINICAL REFERENCE MATERIALS AVAILABLE FROM VERICHEM LABORATORIES

November 1, 2021

An extensive offering of liquid stable and ready-to-use combined Total Protein/Albumin clinical reference materials are now available from Verichem Laboratories. The multi-level combined Total Protein/Albumin Standard Kit, along with the optional and stand-alone, Total Protein/ Albumin Standard – Level F, are specifically designed and manufactured for the calibration and calibration verification of  Albumin and Total Protein assays on a wide number of clinical testing systems, including those from Abbott Diagnostics, Beckman Coulter, Roche Diagnostics, Siemens Healthineers.

Certain to address the needs of a wide variety of medical laboratory professionals, Verichem’s Total Protein/Albumin clinical reference materials are treated just as ordinary patient specimens, with no preparation, diluents, or reconstitution required. The materials are prepared with human serum albumin and gamma-globulin serum proteins in a saline-based solution, where the assigned concentration levels have been verified using either NIST, ERM, or IFCC Standard Reference Materials (SRM’s).  The product’s unique formulation, along with CLIA compliant set point design, is critical for the determination of the testing method’s accuracy, sensitivity, linearity, and reportable range. Plus, the matrix is stabilized and preserved with a proprietary blend of non-reactive materials, resulting in an exceptional product shelf-life claim of twenty-four (24) months from date of manufacture.

Verichem LABORATORIES’ Total Protein / Albumin Standard Kit is packaged in easy-to-use, translucent polyethylene dropper vials. Each vial is filled with an ample fifteen milliliters (15.0 mL) of material  at each concentration level, making them ideal for numerous calibration verification testing events, or system troubleshooting.  In addition, a detailed Certificate of Analysis (COA), indicating traceability and actual lot data, is provided and shipped with each kit.

VERICHEM LABORATORIES serves the clinical laboratory testing and in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) manufacturing markets with a comprehensive line of calibration verification products, chemistry linearity standards, assay verifiers, standard reference materials, and support services, including  free  and  instant online data reduction reports for CLIA compliance.
