DNAnexus Appoints Scott Gibson as Chief Financial Officer

Experienced senior leader brings blend of strategic and operational skills to support company's continued growth

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, UNITED STATES - May 20, 2019 - DNAnexus, Inc., the leader in biomedical informatics and data management, today announced the appointment of Scott Gibson as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Gibson will lead finance, legal, human resources, and administration.

Gibson has held CFO roles at both public and private firms that cover a broad swath of the tech industry. Prior to joining DNAnexus, Gibson served as CFO at Conviva, a leading data analytics software platform firm in the media space. Previously, he was CFO at several semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, and networking companies. Gibson received his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Iowa State University and his Master of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
