Christian Marcazzo joins IDBS as Vice President and General Manager

GUILDFORD, UK - Sep 10, 2018 - Christian will be responsible for running IDBS and growing the Informatics Solutions business of the Danaher Life Sciences Platform.

Christian will have P&L responsibility, including establishing the business strategy, identifying future growth by evaluating organic and inorganic opportunities, driving flawless execution of the sales and professional service strategies, executing the new product roadmap, and attracting and developing a winning team.

Joining IDBS from PerkinElmer Informatics, where he was VP Analytics & Search, Christian has worked for companies including TIBCO, Spotfire and LION bioscience in the UK, US, and Germany. He has held senior global roles in sales, marketing and product management.

Christian has a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. He will be based at the IDBS headquarters in Guildford, UK.

IDBS became part of Danaher Corporation’s Life Sciences platform in late 2017, joining businesses such as SCIEX, Phenomenex, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Pall, Leica Microsystems and Molecular Devices.
