Databiology's Information Management Platform Uses Annotation and Interpretation from Tute Genomics to Accelerate Cancer Genomics Research

Databiology’s Software as a Service (SaaS) offering, Databiology for Enterprise (DBE), manages life science organizations’ projects in omics studies, such as genomics, proteomics or other research into the biology of organisms and molecular structure. The solution serves as a central platform throughout the lifecycle of research projects, from data acquisition and curation through analysis, retrieval and integration. DBE can be configured to support project, workload, information and infrastructure requirements offering maximum flexibility and control over all omics information and activities enterprise-wide.

Tute Genomics, as a leading provider of genome annotation, has compiled an unprecedented database of genomic information including billions of rows of genetic variants and over 125 data sources and scoring algorithms, in a cloud-based setting amenable to big data technologies. In addition to API (application programming interface) access to support 3rd party tool development, Tute Genomics also provides a user-friendly, cloud-based interface for rapid and accurate genome analysis and interpretation using the most advanced analytical methods, including proprietary machine-learning algorithms to assist researchers and clinicians in prioritizing disease genes and biomarkers.
