Biocair strengthens its customer focus in 2024 and prepares for another year of growth
Cambridge, UK, 3rd December 2024 / Sciad Communications / As 2024 draws to a close, Biocair, an established global leader in life sciences logistics, renews its commitment to its customers and looks forward to another busy year in 2025. Welcoming a new CEO refreshed the company’s customer focus, driving its continued efforts to tackle complex logistics challenges. The company has since made several strategic expansions to better deliver this expertise to the life sciences industry.
Industry veteran guides next stage of growth
Biocair started the year with the exciting announcement of its new CEO. Vincent Howard has been a part of the Biocair team since 1993 and has an in-depth understanding of the challenges life science companies face in delivering complex products and materials globally. Vincent’s passion for customer service has enabled him to build strong, strategic partnerships and has guided many of the steps taken over the past year to ensure that Biocair continues to deliver the exceptional service it is known for.
“My first year as CEO has flown by with the enhancement of our global offering and I look forward to continuing to build on the incredible network that we have developed since I first joined the company over 30 years ago. Biocair Connects with customers
In a major step to improve customer experience, Biocair is proud to launch its new customer portal, Biocair Connect. To make booking and updating shipments easier, the portal enables customers to draft, book, update or cancel shipments directly. Customers now have the ability to view all orders and pending shipments in one place, making logistics management considerably more straightforward.
“Setting up an account was easy. Staff were very responsive and could answer each of my questions. Our first shipment made it on time and in great condition from the US Mainland to Australia!”
- Dr. Andrew C. Hawkins, Director of Laboratory Services with Phibro Animal Health Corporation
Increased customer support
The new portal marks the latest in a series of steps that the company has taken to further improve customer service. It builds on the increased support implemented at its Hamburg siteearlier this year, more than doubling its original size and staff numbers. Combined with the opening of Biocair’s new Bangalore office, this emphasizes Biocair’s ongoing commitment to offering an in-depth knowledge of both local and global logistics challenges. Having experts in place who understand local and global challenges provides new options for prospects and customers who need a sophisticated cold chain logistics solution.
Accelerating into 2025
While 2024 has been a challenging year for many, the life science industry remains of vital importance to ensuring a healthy future for all. Biocair is committed to supporting this through an efficient, high quality, reliable network to enable the delivery of vital treatments to patients.
“As we look forward into 2025, I’m excited by the innovative progress many of our customers and partners are making in the development of life saving therapies. With technologies ever evolving, I’m sure we as an industry will be able to harness these developments to continue to build on this progress.
