Fluralaner is a novel isooxazoline broad-spectrum insecticide that acts on γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors and has good activity against ticks, fleas, hemiptera, diptera and lepidoptera insects. Its toxicity is higher than or comparable to commonly used insecticides. Fluralaner has no significant cross-resistance with existing insecticides and even has good insecticidal activity against some resistant pests.
