Version 3.8 of Qlucore Omics Explorer enables faster and improved data visualizations.

Qlucore, leading software provider of powerful visualization-based bioinformatics data analysis tools, announces Qlucore Omics Explorer (QOE) version 3.8, with new features that will improve ease of use and enhance performance.

Qlucore Omics Explorer is a next-generation bioinformatics software for research in life science, plant- and biotech industries, as well as academia. The powerful and flexible visualization-based data analysis tool with inbuilt powerful statistics delivers immediate results and provides instant exploration and visualization of big data.

“This release is important for scientists who work with single cell data. The most important addition is the new UMAP plot, which will further strengthen the offering for single cell data analysis and visualization. UMAP plots are now available as a complement to t-SNE, PCA and all other plot types. In addition, the performance for large data sets has been improved. “, says Carl-Johan Ivarsson, CEO

Scientist often phase challenges with conversions of different gene identifiers. V3.8 will enable improved usability for real life experiments by allowing the in-built conversion of variable identifiers and variable lists based on so called CHIP files that are provided by Broad Institute. One example of its use is in understanding more about the underlying biology and pathways using the inbuilt Gene Set Enrichment (GSEA) Workbench.

Finally, V3.8 offers improved window handling and support for new operating system versions including Mac OS 12 and Windows 11.
