Creative Biostructure Releases Virus-like Particles for Virus Related Projects

March 20, 2018

SHIRLEY, NY - Mar 21, 2018 - March 21st, 2018, Creative Biostructure, an outstanding supplier in the science of structure biology, released a series of virus-like particle service to meet the increasing demands in vaccinology, commercial medical field, clinical study, etc. As the technology development, virus-like particle products produced by Creative Biostructure are built with gene therapy tools and new nanomaterials characteristics.

Virus-like particles offered by Creative Biostructure contain a high concentration of specific membrane proteins in their native conformation. They also confomationally intact membrane proteins from the cell surface directly, which make these complex proteins to be manipulated as soluble proteins. In a macro perspective, VLPs have become a widely accepted technology in the field of vaccinology. What’s more, a number of vlp product of vaccines are used as commercial medical areas and others are at different stages of clinical study. Due to its remarkable advantages, this technology is widely used to characterize the structural integrity, stability and components, such as the encapsidated nucleic acids.

“with help of our VLPs, scientists have achieved a lot in drug and antibody discovery and characterization and it has been integrated into a variety of existing platforms. In order to meet all kinds of demands from scientists in different areas, we had built our vlp produts to be qualified to a wide applications, including virus research, therapeutic and imaging agents, vaccines, lipoparticle technology, immunization for antibody elicitation, phage and yeast display, antibody screening by ELISA, kinetic analysis of antibody binding by biosensor, radioligand and fluorescent binding assays and so on.” said Dr. Peterson Hoffman, senior scientists of the R&D department of Creative Biostructure.

“additionally, VLPs from Creative Biostructure have been produced from components of a variety of virus families, such as parvoviridae, retroviridae, flaviviridae and bacteriophages. What’s more, they can also be produced in multiple cell culture systems including bacteria, mammalian cell lines, insect lines, yeast and plant cells. ” concluded Dr. Jones Edwards, an assistant scientist of Dr. Peterson in Creative Biostructure.

Do these application areas mentioned above involve your projects? If not, please feel free to contact Creative Biostructure to discuss the custom VLPs.
