HudsonAlpha and University of Alabama Birmingham Launch Center for Genomic Medicine

June 18, 2014 | The HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine are expanding and formalizing their relationship as the UAB-HudsonAlpha Center for Genomic Medicine. The new entity doesn't have any therapeutic areas of focus identified yet, but hopes to soon. Cancer is likely to be one, as is genetic research into autism spectrum disorders. Alabama.com
