ASHG: A Presenter's Perspective

October 31, 2013 | Dan Koboldt, head of the human genetics analysis group of the Genome Institute at Washington University in St. Louis, shares his impressions from the ASHG meeting in Boston last week. Koboldt attended the conference to present his work developing an algorithm to score variants found in families' exomes on their likelihood to be causative for inherited disorders, but his interests span the breadth of human genetics. His take on ASHG offers insights into where the discipline as a whole is heading. MassGenomics
