Agilent to Divide Into Two Companies

September 24, 2013 | Agilent Technologies is preparing to divide in two. Agilent's life sciences, diagnostics and applied markets business will continue operating under the name Agilent, while its electronic measurement business will break off to form a separate company. Bill Sullivan will continue in his role as president and CEO of Agilent, while Ron Nersesian will become president and CEO of the spinoff company.
