September 28, 2012 | A pilot program is allowing University of Utah readers to "check out" Nature papers from the library for as little as $3. Compared to purchasing reprints for $35, the program represents significant savings for researchers. The program is a partnership between the University of Utah and Nature Publishing Group and is made possibile thanks to Readcube, tech startup Labtiva’s reference managing platform, which is integrated into the University’s library proxy and allows users to browse, download, and organize journal articles.
