July 13, 2012 | Atul Butte, chief of systems medicine in the Stanford University Department of Pediatrics, has no lab in the orthodox sense. His discoveries, and there are plenty of them, pour out of a warren of cubicles housing computers and anywhere from 10 to 25 people.
