May 25, 2012 | Canadian researchers screened about 3,000 compounds looking for those that would selectively inhibit cancer stem cells. Of the 20 promising results, one was the antipsychotic drug thioridazine. Their results were published yesterday in Cell. Winnipeg Free Press
