April 5, 2012 | Researchers from the Broad Institute have sequenced the genome of the three-spine stickleback, a small migratory fish, and have caught a glimpse of gene adaptations in action. The researchers analyzed 21 different populations around the world including both fresh and saltwater varieties, and traced the differences. Their findings are published today in Nature. HHMI
