February 9, 2012 | A new PricewaterhouseCoopers report shows that three of the top 10 California recipients of National Institutes of Health grants were in the San Diego area. 15.2% of the NIG funding last year was awarded to California applicants; the state is consistantly the top beneficiary of NIH grants.
