Cancer Researchers Migrate En Masse from Dana Farber to MD Anderson

December 12, 2011 | MD Anderson Cancer Center has lured 55 scientists away from the Belfer Institute for Applied Cancer Science at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute after Ron DePinho, the founding director of the Belfer Institute, was chosen as president of MD Anderson. The recruits include 28 researchers, 27 post-doctoral researchers and PhD students, DePinho's wife, Lynda Chin, who will be the scientific director of the Institue for Applied Cancer Science at MD Anderson, and several other positions of leadership.
