December 7, 2011 | A new 12-gene test from Genomic Health could spare many of the 45,000 American women diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) annually by predicting which cases are most likely to be aggressive — requiring both surgery and radiation — versus surgery alone.
