Back to Berlin for PacBio's Jonas Korlach

August 12, 2011 | The co-founder of Pacific Biosciences, Jonas Korlach, is preparing to return to Berlin and his homeland in the former East Germany. In 1989, a 16-year-old Korlach and his grandmother walked through the Brandenburg Gate, just a few miles from Korlach's home in East Berlin. Korlach plans to attend the official unveiling of the first PacBio RS next-gen sequencing instrument in Berlin with Chancellor Angela Merkel in attendance. San Jose Mercury News
