Google to Cover Foundation Medicine Tests for All Employees

November 6, 2014 | Foundation Medicine, the largest and most visible provider of broad genetic tests for personalized cancer therapy, announced this week that Google will pay for its flagship FoundationOne and FoundationOne Heme tests for anyone covered under Google health plans. The news comes just three weeks after Priority Health, a large Michigan-based non-profit, became the first insurer to offer full coverage of both tests.
