Bio-IT World Announces Best Practices Finalists
March 15, 2016
March 15, 2016 | The Editors announced the finalists today in the Bio-IT World Best Practices competition. Entries from 17 groups made it to the final round of competition. Winners will be announced live at the plenary session at the Bio-IT World Conference & Expo on April 6, at 9:30 am.
Since 2003, the Best Practices Awards have highlighted outstanding examples of how technology innovations and strategic initiatives can be powerful forces for change in the life sciences, from basic biomedical research to drug development and beyond.
This year’s field featured a unique class of entrepreneurs and innovators, from the clinic, lab and board room, who have developed new approaches to some of the key pain points in research, discovery, and clinical development.
“Fourteen years after our first Best Practices competition, I continue to be inspired by the work done in our field,” said Bio-IT World Editor Allison Proffitt. “The Bio-IT World Community is increasingly open, and the partnerships and projects showcased here prove our dedication to collaborative excellence.”
